Varsity Home Service Earns Coveted “Best of Long Island” Award

Local, third-generation family business honored for top quality service

BOHEMIA, NY – March 15, 2022 – Varsity Home Service Company has been voted Long Island’s Best Plumbing Company and Best HVAC Specialist in the coveted 2022 Bethpage Best of LI competition. This esteemed award honors local businesses who stand out for exceptional quality.

The annual Bethpage Best of LI contest is the largest business awards program in the history of Long Island. The program serves as a guide to the most outstanding businesses throughout both Nassau and Suffolk counties across several categories. Bethpage Best of LI award winners are selected by the votes of the Long Island patrons who rely on these businesses. Over 1.4 million votes were cast by Long Island residents in this year’s competition.

Since then, Varsity Home Service has defended the titles of Best Plumbing Company and Best HVAC Specialist for the past four consecutive years. Varsity Home Service will be showcased as the Best Plumbing Company and Best HVAC Specialist in the 2022 Bethpage Best of LI Official Winners Guide and on the Official 2022 Bethpage Best of LI Winners List, in the Home & Garden section.

The annual Bethpage Best of LI contest celebrated its seventeenth year in 2022. Each year, the nomination period runs from January 1st through August 31st, during which the public nominates their favorite people and businesses. The top 15-18 nominees advance to the official ballot, for which voting runs October 1st through December 15th annually. Each category has one local winner, and where applicable one national winner, determined by the most votes​.

Varsity Home Service will be competing in the 2023 Bethpage Best of LI contest later this year. Across all Best of LI categories, the winners of the previous year’s competition are automatically included on the ballot for the chance to defend their title against the top finalists.
