Local, third-generation family business earns Best of LI 2025 title
Varsity Home Service has been voted Long Island’s Best Plumbing Company in the coveted 2025 FourLeaf Best of LI competition. This prestigious award honors businesses who stand out for superior quality on Long Island.
The annual FourLeaf Best of LI contest is the largest business awards program in the history of Long Island. The program serves as a guide to the highest quality businesses and services throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties. Long Island patrons select the FourLeaf Best of LI award winners through the power of their votes across several categories. Over one million votes were cast by Long Island residents in this year’s competition.

Varsity Home Service first won a FourLeaf Best of LI award in 2019. Since then, Varsity Home Service has defended its title for the past seven consecutive years. Varsity Home Service will be showcased as the Best Plumbing Comapny in the 2025 FourLeaf Best of LI Official Winners Guide and on the Official 2025 FourLeaf Best of LI Winners List, in the Home & Garden section.
The annual FourLeaf Best of LI contest has been identifying top quality businesses throughout Long Island for nearly two decades. Each year, the nomination period runs from January 1st through August 31st, during which the public nominates their favorite people and businesses. The top 15-18 nominees advance to the official ballot, for which voting runs October 1st through December 15th annually. Each category has one local winner, and where applicable one national winner, determined by the most votes.
Varsity Home Service will be competing in the 2026 FourLeaf Best of LI contest later this year. Across all Best of LI categories, the winners of the previous year’s competition are automatically included on the ballot for the chance to defend their title against the top finalists.
