The Definition of Professionalism
Returning home to discover no heat or hot water is never pleasant, but even worse is being told that your state of the art, high efficiency burner is unrepairable due to the manufacturer’s discontinuation of the product and/or parts. Thankfully, we have a service contract with Varsity Home Service and they responded to my late night call promptly and courteously. I received a call from the office manager/dispatcher that their installation crew would be arriving within 30 minutes to an hour. In exactly 30 minutes time, 4 young men, Brandon, Ramon, Christian, and Jake arrived and immediately got to work. In addition to courteously addressing me, and taking measures to ensure they didn’t track up my floors, these hardworking men deported themselves professionally and spent the entire day installing the new equipment. They did not leave until ensuring that everything worked properly , the work area was cleaner than when the job was started, and we had no unsatisfied questions.
